#3071241 Do you think we are better off with lance or Gordon Hayward.

Posted by chubs2496 on 06 November 2014 - 09:34 PM

guys I don't want to be the bearer of bad news considering I'm a very positive fan, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for Curry. He is in such a good situation with Golden State

Idk man it seems kinda destined to be at this point. Steph lives on charlotte. His daddy was a loved charlotte hornet and still is. The hornets are back. Young talented players. He would be the biggest signing ever for this franchise and would instantly bc loved and most popular player around the city.

But with all that said we don't know Stephs wants and needs. He may not wanna come back. But all signs point to the homecoming. That's the trend nowadays. But I get where your coming from as we'll soja

#3068000 Hornets vs Pelicans Game Thread.

Lance needs to come out strong.
Al Jefferson needs to be more effecient and so does Kemba.
Marvelous is gonna have a rough game bc he's going against the brow.
Hopefully MKG plays and continues to impress. He's by far been our best player so far and I'm really proud of him. Keep it up.

This will be a tough game bc their size but hopefully we can come out strong. Stretch the floor open up the lanes and hit our threes. Bc gosh I do not wanna start out 1-3

Diddy that's a great story of your night. Sounds a lot like the rest of our nights in the arena. Absolutely amazing. Greatest thing I've ever witnessed, heard, and ever been apart of. The intensity and buzz was electric.

My dad is very laid back and witnessed my own father chest bumping an high diving random strangers next to us. That literally made my night. I've been to many bobcat games and never seen him like that. It was great. U could not have scripted it any better.

I also parked in the same lot u mentioned and got out of there with absolutely zero traffic. So overall it was the best night of my life. Will be back for sure. Thanks to MJ, the organization the supporters and the players. But most of all the fans like diddy and all of us posters here that watched and was live screaming out lungs out giving every thing we had to our CHARLOTTE HORNETS. Amazing game. Thank u all.

#3054889 What a game, could not have asked for more

Some half ass Michael Jackson tribute band that was really bad. The mics cut in and out and they did a song nobody knew. That's actually pretty hard to do with Michael Jackson.

No $hit man. I was like really. Out of all mikes songs u play the two that nobody has ever heard. It had potential to be a pretty awesome halftime show. But as someone said already who's bad. They damn sure were.

#3054562 still hatin on Marvin Williams?

Posted by chubs2496 on 30 October 2014 - 12:03 AM

Dude is one of the main reasons we won this game. He made huge shots down the stretch and got us back in it.

I wasn't huge and didn't expect much from him but man I love what he did for us tinight.

I don't think imma be able to sleep.

I've never been so excited. Being there. Seeing and feeling the atmosphere was literally the greatest sports experience I've ever had. Words can't describe it. My voice is destroyed. My eyes are bloodshot. I have a massive headache. But I'll never forget what I felt today. Just an amazing night. I'm still trying to come down to reality and go to sleep lol.

#2857384 How Hornets matchup against Top Teams in East

Posted by chubs2496 on 18 July 2014 - 07:57 PM

difference is player A is a few years younger and has yet to play with anything close to playoff talent.

look i love kemba, but he isn't irving. WTF is that so hard for some to admit on here. we got henderson needs to be cut, kemba is better than kyrie, vonleh and kobe being compared together, what else?

Listen I really don't think I'm being a homer. I truly don't. Irving is a tremendous talent and he could one day be really good. But he needs to work on defense and caring about the team. He prolly will now that Lebron comes to town. But I want a player with heart and dedication and leadership.

This was the first year Kemba had one really good player around him and he stepped up. So it goes both ways with the talent on both teams. Although Cleveland had some talent IMO. They just couldn't put it together and Irving is supposed to be the best player and lead them. So don't gimme that talent crap. It's a two way street.

That's alright I'll stand by Kemba. Y'all don't have to. This is my team and my point guard and I'm thankful we got him when we did bc he helped turn us from the laughing stock of the league to potential contenders this year and following years. I'm grateful for him.

Is he magic Johnson? No! Is he the best pg ever? No! But pound for pound he's the toughest most competitive pg and I wouldn't put my money against Kemba no matter who he's playing.

Agree with everything except Lowry. He's not better than Kemba. Averaged the same thing pretty much and Kemba is better IMO

#2852954 Bonnell now saying Hornets are players for Lance.

Posted by chubs2496 on 15 July 2014 - 09:27 PM

I'm just wondering. Was Higgins the ONLY source he had? He has less credibility than I have on twitter.

That had to be his only source. No other reason he would flip out about Higgins leaving on twitter.

Now he only gets word when cho wants to tell him. Cho prolly trolls him lol

Sign Stephenson, trade Henderson for some dude overseas that will never come over, sign Boozer... Championship.

PG: Walker, Roberts, ???
SG: Stephenson, Hairston, Neal
SF: Kidd-Gilchrist, Williams, Taylor
PF: Boozer, Vonleh
C: Jefferson, Zeller, Biyombo

And I woke up

To be honest I think that team makes the ECF. That team could have beaten Indiana and now with them losing lance we could possibly be in the finals playing against Cleveland or Chicago.
