Do you see Gettleman bending to that?

Franchise QBs don't grow on trees. If Cam balls out this season, then Gettleman isn't going to have a choice to pay him, because someone else will. This team is only a few steps away from competing every year. Failing to sign Cam would set this franchise back a lot.

Seems to me the reason they give the teams the balls is so they can be altered to their preference. Hence the Packers over inflating for Rodgers with no issues.

I belive the rules state that they have to be at least a certain psi. There is no rule againt over inflating the ball

In Topic: An attack by Bane isn't an option: Are you pulling for Seattle or New Eng...

As much as I don't like Seattle, I have to pick Seattle. Seattle deserves a lot of respect for how they play the game. Defensively they line up in a very basic defense and come right at you. They aren't flashy and they've built a team the right way. the Patriots are nothing but cheaters. It has been proven before with spygate, and it's about to be proven once again with the deflated footballs. There is no place in this game for that.

In Topic: Another FA thread... but this one has lists and links

We gonna have some $$$ this year.  I'd sign FA WR and draft OT in 1st 2 rounds.  I would also draft another WR in first 3 rounds.  Give Cam some weapons.

Spread the field with 3 WR, 1 TE and 1RB.  Play Benjamin in the slot and 2 speedy guys on the outside.  This offense will go places.

Too bad Shula will still be the OC. I don't think this offense is going anywhere as long as he's pulling the strings. Pat Shurmer for OC
