There needs to be more stats for the o-line. All we have to go by is sacks allowed, false starts, or how many games they started.

if Duke Robinson can have a good training camp I see him starting by at least midway through the season at RG over Vincent. He was a 3 year starter at Oklahoma and was very durable.

Imagine the right side with him and Otah to run behind. I know one think Orakpo would be on his ass all day looking up at 700+ pounds of right O-line runnin him over all day.

Nothin against Vincent I think Duke starts and Vincent provides great depth at the guard spot.

Otah was also hurt the 1st few games. From the middle of the season on he was an absolute beast, and made very few mistakes

A lot of that is a product of being moved so much. Only the last couple of years has he been allowed to mature at one position, before that they moved him every year from one side to the other, at times in the middle of the season. He's proven to be solid now and is due the credit. I actually say he's rank too low here...

Injured or not it is pretty common knowledge that most rookie linemen get abused for the first half dozen games and really get going the second half of the year. Otah was pretty good all along. Guys like Clady are the exception not the rule.

i dont think duke starts even if he outperforms vincent in TC...fox prefers vets and likes to bring along rookies slow..most of the time..

Wow, that just blows. Not calling out you personally, it's just a general statement that sticks in my crawl. Where is Wahle, Hartwig, Hangman, etc.? Baggage that needed to go. Oh, you don't think Hangman needed to go? Well then what are you criticizing Fox for being too loyal to vets then? Random statements keep getting thrown out there without any proof.

Every time a veteran player shows that he's done, he's gone - he's just gone - maybe not as quick as you'd like with HINDSIGHT, but he's gone, I just don't understand the persistence in this topic.

I understand Fox held onto Foster too long, but he thought he was the best chance to win and in that time, it was. Upon hindsight, it wasn't, get over it. Do not forever brand Fox as someone who holds onto vets too long. It's just not true...

I'm not truly a Fox apologist, but I am today...
