That was all part of a lawsuit settlement. You can call the Ravens the "Expansion team" if you want but how many expansion teams start with a completely established roster, front office, coaching staff, scouting department etc. Usually, expansion team spend a lot of time putting that together, then they need time together to begin working well together. That describes wht the "new" Browns went through, not the Ravens.

Saints or Cardinals, at least the Lions were the team of a decade(50's) and have actual Championships.

Cards were pretty useless until their recent super bowl run. That edges them out over the Saints.

The only team I can think of more useless than the Saints or Falcons is the Texans. In their defense they havent been around as long....

The Browns have too much history in the nfl to be irrelevant

Well I don't know if we are irrelevant or not but I'll take 1 Conference Title in 1998 and a Super Bowl as well. 3 Division Titles, and 9 playoff apperances 1978, 1980, 1982, 1991, 1995, 1998, 2002, 2004, and 2008. I don't call that irrelevant, Tampa Bay or New Orleans maybe but not us!
