Is there a more irrelevant team than the Falcons in NFL history?

Yeah but the Falcons have been around 43 years and that's all they've done. I don't understand how Tampa can be irrelevant if the Falcons aren't? By your assessment of what you don't call irrelevant, Tampa has 10 playoff appearances 1979, 1981, 1982, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007, 1 conference title, 6 division titles and a Superbowl win. I agree on the Saints though.

y'all are right that the saints are the most irrelevant team in the NFL since they have never been to the superbowl.
Just like the chicago cubs are the most irrelevant team in all of sports considering their 100 year drought without a title is longer than any other major north American professional sports team.

Any team with Drew Brees under center cannot be irrelevant. It's a mathematical impossibility!

Also, we had a voodoo ceremony performed in front of 70K+ fans during pregame... with a bucket of chicken.

The relevance : fan arrogance ratio is a big one for me. The Falcons are like 1:100 in that category.

Yet unlike the Aints, The Cubs have actually still won it all no matter how long ago it was. The Cubs and Wrigley are timeless, the Aints and their dome aren't. Some great Championships have been won in that dome though, sadly enough, none by the home team.
