If you say so....but to me 46 interceptions in 3 seasons is a little ridiculous. But everyone has an opinion. I will work on my list.

For my list I posted on page 1, you could move some of the players up or down a couple spots, I wouldn't mind, but what's more important are the categories they're in. This is the best representation of how I would rank the QBs of the NFL along with each category they're in.

I don't make the categories first then place players in. I automatically grouped most of the players together in my head then figured out why I grouped them that way and adjust if needed by looking at stats and considering other factors.

After the best QBs in the NFL, I would want a young tested QB who is more likely to keep improving over a QB who is on the downside of his career. There are a few good QBs after that, but their consistency is an issue. After that, I wouldn't touch them unless they either improved alot or proved that they are capable of playing in the league.

I wouldn't say most overrated but definitely given far too much credit. He is good early in the season when the games don't matter as much, but when the pressure is on he folds like a cheap hooker who just got punched in the gut. I'm sure some people base it off stats but those only go so far.

I don't know....I havent watched enough Cowboy games I guess....because it seems like I have never seen him have a great game. We'll see what he does against the Panthers for sure.

Probably so.

It's nice to have one other person out there that thinks like you.

Carson Palmer

Jay Cutler
Matt Ryan
Tony Romo
Chad Pennington

To post my list again. I ranked these players not solely on past experience and big games. Peyton Manning was no.1 because he pretty much carried that Colts team down the stretch last season. There were actually a plethora of criteria I used, including but not limited to:

performance down the stretch (did they perform better as the season progressed?)
durability (how many games missed?)
efficiency (QB rating, total yards, stat talk)
upside (youth, performance as a rookie)

the object is to gauge how well they can do in 2009. It's not about what they did 5 years ago that I'm gonna credit them a higher rating. Matt Hasselbeck would've probably been in the top 10 3 years ago. The farthest I went back was 2007.

You don't consider Carson Palmer to be a top 10 QB??

i guess he doesn't, which isn't exactly fair.

The Bengals' passing game is pretty much the only thing they've ever had to hang their hat on. The defense is terrible and there's no running game and their offensive line is marginal at best. Last year they gave up 51 sacks,<---it's no wonder Palmer struggled.

His only playoff game was a loss but I remember he tore his ACL because Von Oelhoffen fell into his leg and up until that point he had pretty much gone stride for stride in scoring with Pittsburgh.

He's had two 4,000+ yard passing seasons in a row.
