the longer he is out there the cheaper robertson will be...and he has been out there a while..plus all these teams moveing to a 3-4 and robertson being a 4-3 guy he wont cost that much...

I will keep posting this until the FO gets in gear. We Need more help at DT. It was no coincidence that we start giving up points when Kemo and Lewis got dinged up. We need too have more backing them up then (Undrafted FA, Rookies, and 2nd year players). I will sleep better at night if they brought in Sands or Robertson.

With Robertson, it's not a matter of what he's worth. It's what he thinks he's worth. He isn't going to sign a deal just to get on a roster. He's young and the best available DT and he knows it.

The lack of depth at DT is my main concern as well. Drafting Irvin is not going to help us this year. The guy is raw and will take time to develop. Free agent rookies doesn't exactly make me feel all warm a fuzzy inside either.
Anything short of us picking up a FA DT of some worth will make me point to that as the failure of the FO this offseason...especially if we get gashed by teams with interior runs.

I think were fine, really all it is, is wishful thinking, I don't believe we will sign either of these guys, and they may not sign another free agent.

We're waiting to see if we can get by with what we got & hoping nobody gets hurt. He's hoping a projected starting DT fails miserably or possibly gets dinged up in the pre-season to keep his price up. If we were seriously considering Robertson, there would have been talks to get him in and acclimate him to the system. Sands isn't an option unless we're willing to deal with Davis.

Yeah unless one of the starters goes down.

Yeah, why aren't you? I know it's great to think we have to get every available free agent out there, but what's wrong with what we got? I think it's pretty good...
