Poor Vickers. The way he has ran this race, if he hadn't lost his position before the race hed probably be in the lead.

I case anyone cares Dale Jr & Martin engines went south due to a new material in rocker arm. They decided on going on to the the new style while the 24 & 48 teams had last years type.

Keep in mind that the 24 & 48 teams is in the same shop as are the 5 & 88 teams are in their own shop. So no we don't give the better stuff to anyone else, they chose to be different! Just had to clarify that before anyone got any ideas!!

I was wearing my free Dale Jr. hat earlier today that we got when the National Guard sponsored our softballteam this past summer.

He can. But that window is closing if you consider the younger drivers like Kyle Busch coming fast. And someone has to derail the 48 Express first.

I have been the most critical person of Dale Jr. on this board, and I want to say something...he really impressed me with his interview with DW before the California race. Especially when compared to, say...Alex Rodriguez's press conference. Dale Jr. screwed up royally at Daytona, but after cooling off he admitted it.

The way Gordon is going (last week notwithstanding), I can see Jr. becoming the second teat on the Hendrick Hawg very soon.

he seems worse every week. currently the only hendrick car not in the top 5. maybe he is focusing more on the boots and bikinis contests at whiskey river.
