UNC should be set at that position. They're saying Roy is desperate because he realizes he doesn't have another Lawson/Felton on hand, even though he has two Burger Boys.

UNC is never out when going for a recruit. Just about everyone thought UNC was way to late in going after Harrison Barnes but that turned out not being the case.

I wonder how things would have went if Roy would have went after Wall? IMO from what I have read about Wall's recruitment process, he would have went to UNC but Roy was too worried about his handler and the risk to Carolinas reputation. Me as a fan would of loved to watch him in baby blue though.

If I was a state fan, I would be much more worried about NC State's basketball program than UNC's program. For crying out loud, you just got swept by the worst UNC team in years, and they didn't even have Ed Davis in the last game.

As far as Wall goes. I'm not going to lose a bit of sleep over that kid. Even if he would have come to UNC, it would have been for one season, then Roy would have been right back where he is now...having to train another inexperienced PG in 2011. Why kiss Wall's handler's ass just so you can have a kid for one season? One season is not worth selling your soul over.

You sure as hell wouldn't be fighting for DFL in the ACC.

PG is definitely a spot UNC is hurting at but the one thing thats has killed them this year is the fact that they have no one who can hit the 3 ball. Like in the past with Ellington,Green, and Lawson. Graves is ok but he's not any of those guy's.

Personally, I think Drew needs to shoot more. He passes up a lot of open shots, and what's worse, a lot of the times that happens right before he turns it over trying to get somebody else a shot. He's not a great shooter, but he's good enough to hit some when he's wide open.
