Any team can stop Steve if they commit enough resources to it. The Seahawks proved that in the NFC Championship game a few years back. The problem is how do you stop everyone else if you do.

If there's one thing I've learned about Smitty over the years, it's that comments like that are the equivalent of talking about his mamma! Smitty takes EVERYTHING personal. Just saying that they can shut him down is smack enough to give him the chip he needs.

I love how you guys defend Rod Hood. There's a difference in being cocky and being confident. If you watch the vid...no one else says anything close to that. Most of them show respect for the Panthers abilities and say it'll be tough but we're up for the challenge. But saying "Yeah, I CAN stop him" is pretty bold and stupid. I don't know how else to explain this to you. No Panther player on any of the videos have said..."We're going to stop Kurt Warner". They say "We need to get pressure on him and mess up his timing". Do you honestly not see the difference. I can't believe we have to argue amongst ourselves about BB material.

And to the argument on the Cards fans with the IF comments....IF Edge hadn't fumbled the ball, we wouldn't have scored the other TD that brought us back...so it goes both ways.

PS...don't quote me and argue with me about BB material...if you don't see it....then we will agree to disagree.

I'm kinda worried about this team if they need BB material to get them fired up for a game that would send them to the NFCCG with a win.

they don't but it never hurts....much was made about the Cards and what AJC (atlanta paper) said last week....so it's always a factor.
