Karl IS the problem, his team sucks defensively and has been getting swept out of the 1st round for 5 years now. Long before "The Answer" showed up. Give any high caliber coach this same group of guys and they could win a playoff game.

Are you drunk? AI is a HALL OF FAMER, which is more than I can say for Karl. You're a Laker fan right? So you've watched this series correct? Watch how HORRIBLE the Nuggets are on defense. They dont rotate, they dont box out, their half court offense is non existent. Who is responsible for these things? The coach! George Karl was getting swept in Denver years before AI showed up, which is why they traded for him in the first place. Explain to me why Mo Cheeks can take a team of no names and get defensive intensity and playoff wins out of them against a veteran ballclub and Karl cant win 1 playoff game with 2 all stars, K-Mart, & Camby? Your chart clearly shows Karl is 20 games BELOW .500 in the playoffs. When it comes to this time of year, Karl is NOT a good coach.

Yeah, 20 games below at 62-82. That's quite a few of victories pre-Denver once again.

Charles Barkley in an interview today says that George Karl aint the same coach he was in Seattle. He considers Karl a friend, but says Karl doesnt seem to care anymore and lacks passion. It seems even a legend like Barkley can see that Karl's lost his team. All this a few days after Carmelo Anthony says the Nuggest coaching staff & players "quit" in Game 3. Will the Nuggets bounce back tonight and stretch out the series? We shall soon see.

They wont sweep Utah, Jerry Sloan is a much better coach than Karl. He actually stresses defense, unlike the offensive minded Karl.

Utah is very tough, especially at home. The broom is in the closet and ain't coming out this series.

Yeah, I agree...Sloan is a much better coach, one of the most underrated ever IMO. However, the Lakers should be given some credit for the way the series went. It wasn't just that the Nuggets are terrible, I mean they had a great season. The Lakers are just that good right now...would you be calling for Karl's head if the Hornets would have swept them, or annointing CP3 as God's gift to basketball?

Anyway, the Utah series will be fun to watch...I still think the Lakers will handle them though.
