We also sold out 20 games after the All-Star break and all of the playoffs, where the N.O Arena was mentioned as having one of the best homecourt advanteges in the playoffs. Good luck in 2020 or so when the Bobcats get in as an 8th seed.

No, that's pretty much every city that doesn't have some kind of morals/family values chip on their shoudler. Clippers or Knicks fans probably wouldn't care if a serial killer was an owner just as long as the team won.

More on Seattle.
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...alysis06m.html I have said it a thousand times. The NBA had MORE to gain financially by the Hornets leaving. 30 million for a "relocation fee" then 300 mil or so for the expansion fee. No way the NBA was going to get 330 million any easier or any faster.

It's the same thing a lot of new up-and-coming sport leagues are trying. Arena Football, for instance, trying what works putting teams in big markets like New York City, Philly, and so on but banking on less taken markets like Grand Rapids or MLS who has a team in Columbus. Still... big markets like Miami, New York, LA is where the big shoe companies like Nike and Adidas love to market out of... Do you think Kobe would have gotten the deal with Adidas had he remained in Charlotte, early on? I was persoanlly shocked to see LJ with Converse... but they were somewhat sucessful. I mean, seriously, if you think Nike wouldn't mind Lebron playing in New York City and having his shows plastered on some huge billboard overlooking Time Square compared to Cleveland, imagine how pissed Nike is about Kevin Durant, this all-star icon up and coming senstation stuck in nowhere Oklahoma City, if Seattle's market share wasn't bad enough! haha
