At least one of the hockey teams in the Carolinas can win
2008-2009 Kelly Cup Champions
South Carolina Stingrays Third Championship in team history after a Game 7 win 4-2 in Anchorage, AK against the Alaska Aces. Stingrays led series 3-1 and had a chance to win it at home in Game 5 but lost in overtime before losing a controversial game 6. Anyone in Charleston that wants to celebrate with them theres going to be some celebration at the ice palace tomorrow (Sunday 6/7) at 3:00. the link to this information is on stingrayshockey.com in the article that talks about them winning in Game 7 LETS GO RAYS!

WOOHOO!! Was going to start a thread too!! I got so excited I turned my trash can over!! GO RAYS!!! I just asked the ole lady if she wants to go to the party tom and she said no! I will work on her!!! The ice palace is only a 10 min drive away!!
