Anton Babchuk gets qualifying offer from the Canes

Anton Babchuk has received a $1 million qualifying offer by the Carolina Hurricanes. Babchuk, who is a restricted free agent, has already stated that he does not plan to accept that offer. Babchuk scored 16 goals and 35 points in 72 games last season. The only question now is where does Babchuk want to play. Does he want to play in North Carolina or Russia?

Every thing that i have heard or read is he is going to russia to play and wont play for a qualifying offer.......things can change, but we shall see
