Canes at Lightning

This one on paper looks like a win. I mean melroses club got beat overseas. Like I said in my last post Leighton is in goal I believe because they want cam in goal for the big game mon night against red wings with our 3rd jerseys. That being said I think this may be closer than it should be. I look for Eric Staal to get his first goal tonight. Also wouldnt be suprised to see Corvo get one to. I will agree with you all that our defense was lacking, but wow can we score on both sides this year. Well at least that was my impression from last night. I know its still early. Ok so I will be watching this game tonight and have the Florida vs LSU in the corner... doing the ole picture in picture. Go Canes!

I get the same feeling. we should win, but I get the feeling it'll be closer than it should. I will also be watching LSU and Florida....GO LSU!!!!!!

I'm in Tampa for the Canes and Panthers games. Just saw the Canes leave the hotel to go to the St. Pete Forum. Lavi actually stayed in the hotel room next to ours. Pretty cool.

What a game! Completely different team in the latter half of this game. Did we ever look dominating in the third. This is the kind of win that can propel a team. I know it's early, but how huge would a win against Detroit be this early?

Sloppy play aside, a great effort turned in tonight.

And Merch, congrats to you and your Gators. You guys deserved that one tonight, well played sir.

Sorry i didnt repost lastnight. Was on the phone with the girlfriend most of the night. First on that ot win. Wow I thought Staal would score lastnight who knew he would get 2 and the latter to be the game winner! As for Leighton I think he just had the jitters to start with. In the end he defenitley settled down and made some great saves. Another win... if we can pull off the win against Detroit... that would be amazing! Also Tampa Bay always has our number... something about Lecavialer and St. Luis. Hate em!
