Ever got burned trying to help friends/family get tix?

I've mostly been burned with my time. People asking me, "Hey can you find me some tix?" and I do, spend time doing it, and they can't make a decision.

Most of the time they want me to find them some 'cheap' tix a week before the game. They want me to find someone to get them face value tix from someone two months before the Monday night football game, the only one of the season.

This is usually after they've checked every website and the cheapest they've found is 2 or 3 times face and they somehow think I can get them some for face.

I got burned several years ago by family who first wanted me to get tickets to sporting events (one of which was a Panthers game), then later said they didn't want to go in one case and just didn't ever pay me back in the others. I wound up having to eat the tickets in all of those occasions. Since then, I may ask them once about going to an event, but after that, I usually go ahead and get only what I know I need to buy.

I do have tix to the Iggles and Vikes games now...but may not make the Vikes game....

Been there for the playoff game last year. "Hay, can you get me lower level tickets for the playoffs?" "I only have $100 total to spend, is that good enough?" Sometimes I really hate stupid people.

I never sell my tickets to family or friends anymore. I like selling to strangers on ebay because they usually pay me up front..lol

I can say this for buying tickets from huddlers, they never have burned me. I pay in advance and have never had anyone not send me the tickets I purchased. When you deal with quality, you get quality.
