Just read Davis is heading for Philly -

I just read that Davis will be in Philly on Monday. And in addition to Philly, the Redskins may also be interested.

I hate the thought of Davis playing and not being a Panther but if he still wants to play, I hope he lands someplace...preferably with Washington.

I don't think he will go back to the Redskins. I think there is bad blood there from when he was there before IIRC.

Wont we look like dumbasses if he goes back and runs for over 1000

He did look alot better at the end of last season......oh well

Huh? He was actually getting worse as the season went on, not better.

it was near the end of the season right before they IR'd him that he finnaly broke a run for over 20....

but thats all i remember.....

I say cut shelton and robertson and bring him back as our short yardage guy.. His 12 td 3yrd runs showed even last year he could do that!!!

If he was looking better, than he would of been kept starting over Foster.

no i agree he was terrible and prooved he tried to came back too early....

I just remember him finnaly being able to cut and break tackles near the end of the season

He had that 1 good run for 20 yards and than he totally missed the open lane and ran right into the defender on 4th and 1.

I don't think we will look dumb if he does well. He's on the downside of his career and it's time for us to find someone else to take over. His injuries were simply too much for us to continue to deal with, year after year. If he does go somewhere else though, I hope he does well and I would be thrilled for him if he could have a 1000 yard season.
