Default Dom Capers?

His four years as Panthers head coach:

1995: 7-9
1996: 12-4
1997: 7-9
1998: 4-12

Like Fox, he followed a mediocre season one with a great season. The, again like Fox he followed success with more crap.

And any naysayers who think "well, Fox took us to 7 wins after our 1-15 season", Capers took us to 7-9 AS AN EXPANSION TEAM. Had not been done before, I dont think.

Fox has been given a lot of room to breath because of our impromptu Super Bowl run from his second season. But like Capers it was followed mostly by mediocrity. One bad season at 4-12, but whos to say Fox wont lay an egg in our near future?

If Capers were still here Big Cat would have already helped him pack and put him on a Greyhound bus. I'll stand behind the Panthers as long as I live and cheer no matter who the coach is, but the numbers, and history, speak for themselves.

No, Christ no. I didnt mean I WANTED Capers back, merely stating Fox is no better, and as such deserves to be sent packing as well. Dear lord, I apologize hahaha

Hadn't seen that. Knew Nolan was a candidate too, as was Sean McDermott.

(lots of folks would like McDermott to replace Trgovac; I wouldn't mind that myself given the philosophy he comes from)
