I think it can not hurt because Colbert dropped two passes that clearly hit him right on the numbers.

The down side is Colbert is better than average blocking down field.

Not an inside person, but I think you HAVE to give him a shot. Colbert is atrocious, but I'm really looking forward to hearing how great he looks next training camp.

Maybe Jarrett doesn't have the playbook memorized, I don't know. I am confident that he knows the basic WR routes and can run them. Jake can draw it on his hand if need be. Just please, no more Colbert.

Wouldn't it be fun if this were his rookie coming out party? He has got to be disappointed that's he's been inactive so far. If he gets a chance he has got to make the most of it. Of course, since Foxy has evaluated that there were no dropped balls last week...why would he make a bold move and change anything?

I thought I read on here somewhere that he was doing a lot of partying and that was possibly why he wasn't picking up on the playbook as quickly and hasn't gotten into the first team rotation.

There any truth to that, or did I just make that up?

Colbert had one very bad game and was clearly not with it. One thing I think we can be sure of is that Colbert will get some targets this week to test against fluke/off-day.

EDIT: If he does take those targets for a great outing, what will the opinion be then? What if he scores like in preseason?

I think Jarrett gets a shot this week, but if not, I believe it may be spite from one very smug, media resenting John Fox.
