Drew Carter prefers Testaverde -

Well I was listening to Panther Talk (every Monday at 8pm) and after they done a boring interview type thing with Marty Hurney, they had the guest appearance by Drew Carter. Well he didn't keep any secrets about who he wanted to play quarterback. Early on, a caller called in and asked, "Can Vinny make the big plays?" and Carter replied, "I believe he can, if you saw what happened yesterday then you know he can do it. I'm sure he will make some more plays in 2 weeks."

Later in the segment, a caller called in and asked who he prefered start against the Colts after the bye week. He responded by saying that based on last week's performance that Vinny should start and that he feels better with Testaverde throwing him the ball. Earlier in the interview with Hurney, he mentioned that he has alot of confidence in David Carr and Vinny Testaverde and time will tell who starts.

Drew knows that only Vinny has the balls to throw the deep bomb to Steve Smith, and Drew wants to ride Smith's coat tails as long as possible.

If anyone has been watching- Carter has made some impressive catches this season. I know he drops passes, like any 3rd/4th string wide out, but he has also made some spectacular catches just about every week.

I know, drinkin the koolaide, but thats beside the point. He has still made a few spectacular catches.

He knows Vinnie wont look his way too many times in the game, so he wont get that many drop opportunities
