I'll take that bet. We rarely release guys before their rookie contract is done. We even held onto Shelton for two years and he never saw the field. Jarrett has gotten more playing time already than Shelton got in his career here. On the other hand, if he keeps doing boneheaded things and doesn't get with the program, you will be right and I'l be 10 bucks poorer.

He has a choice. He can pout and half ass his way through camp and watch Moose, Hackett, Robinson and Rosario take away his touches while he rots on the bench. Or he can bust his ass and earn some touches.

at least he was only at .12, im not saying that it wasnt really really stupid, but it could have been worse....i heard he hired a personal trainer this off-season, hopefully this past season was a wake-up call...hopefully moose will show him how to be a professional and how to prepare....you need to come into the league being humble and i think he thought he was NFL-ready....i still have hope that he will get his act together...at least enough to be a decent contributor this year

Talent wise I think he is NFL ready, but the mental aspect needs to catch up. As Murph said, where he goes from here is up to him.

This. He did a very, very stupid thing. He's also very young and, obviously, not the most mature person on earth.

Try not to completely give up on him yet. Sometimes getting slapped in the face like this can make people grow up and kind of look around them.

Yeah, he literally needs to grow up...he's only 21 still. Most WR's are about 2-3 yrs older than that when they get drafted.

on top of not seeing any real playing time, getting embarrassed by smith during an interview should have been enough of a wake up call.
