Left tackles tend to face the opposing team's fastest pass rusher. Thus, what you want in that spot is a lighter guy with the agility and athleticism to keep those rushers at bay. That's Jordan Gross.

By contrast, Jeff Otah is a big, mauling road grader type who runs over everything in front of him. That's what you want in a right tackle. Such guys need only be adequate in pass blocking because they're generally only facing a complimentary DE (and they're not protecting the quarterback's blind side).

Might Otah wind up on the left if Gross is let go. Possibly, but I'd much rather he didn't. If Gross is let go, I say keep Otah where his skills best fit and fill the left tackle spot with someone else.

Whoa I come with valid points and strike a nerve. Seems to happen all the time. That game that pep got blocked by 2 G and a RB would be on 3rd down and the game was at home. Yep it was the ATL game. He shot the gap the they were in Max protect. They actually held pep on the play also cause both G's where holding him on the outside shoulder pad. Then the RB came to fill the hole so there was no way he could get threw. Oh and I'm not a Guru by no mean I just know alot of shit.

I get what you are saying but its way too early to evaluate Otah cause he is still so raw and has missed time with Injuries. I hope we keep Gross also but he still dose not warrant top 10 money IMO.
