Few more little stats to offer insight:
After looking at it a little more.... Williams only has 100 more total yards than MJD(Receiving and Rushing) and only 1 more total TD. Also... Williams has gotten 53.6% of the Panthers total carries this year, whereas MJD has only gotten 40%(Difference of 63 carried between the two this year)

As I said... I'll give you this year. But the thread is about who has been the best so far right Mike?
Here's a few more numbers for you: Since 2006, MJD has only gotten 34% of his teams total carries(463 out of 1233) Williams has gotten 37% of his teams total carries(458 out of 1233) Honestly, the only reason you can even make this case right now(and this is not a knock on Williams by any means) is because MJD has not gotten more carries. On 130 carries each, MJD has 49 more yards(4.2 to 3.9 avg), and 10 more touchdowns than Fred Taylor. MJD has the same problem that Williams had last year, and Norwood has last year... they're stuck behind another back that as not as efficient as them, and is taking away their stats. Williams had Foster, Norwood has Dunn, and MJD has Taylor.

I hate to pick MJD but untill Dwill gets another great season under his belt he is not the better RB. Then again he never had Fred Taylor coaching him up though ether and a great O-line.

I was wondering that myself, Addai is more of product of where he plays, he never faces 8 in the box because of Manning, you can't say that about Williams or MJD, who both face it constantly.
