Spurs and Mavs -

I know we got some fans of both teams on this board. The two best teams in the west and a really intense rivalry. The game has been exciting so far, theres already been 4 techs in the first half. At the half its 53-51 spurs.

unfortunatly, the Mavs won

I didn't get to see the entire game, but it is certain these two are the teams to beat out West

if for some reason the defending Champs don't make it all the way I'd like to see AJ and the Mavs win it all and at least keep the trophy in Texas

This was such an intense game and a must win for the Mavs, it had the intesity of a playoff game. This keeps the Mavs in the race for the SW division and proves they can win in the AT&T Center, its almost guaranteed that these teams will meet in the playoffs, since one is going to get the 1 seed and the other the 4 and they are clearly the dominant teams in the west.

It was a very good game, especially since the Mavs won.

Watch them mess around and lose OKC/NO tonight.

Dirk looks sharp right now. His J has always been wet, but he's playin more intense. Avery Johnson has really come on well as a coach.

I may be a bit biased, but I think that Josh Howard is turning out to be one of the bigger NBA draft steals in the last 5 years. His line in this game was 9-13 shooting, 22 points, and ten rebounds. And he is one of the better defenders in the league.

damn, what happened to the Mavs lastnight, checked the score midway in the third and they were up, check ESPN and find out they lost wth?, I was sure they were gonna run all over GS

well on the brightside, the Spurs are 1 1/2 games up
