How much you wanna bet it's for Marcus Banks and someone like Boris Diaw, Barbosa, or maybe Jalen Rose.

UPDATE: NEVERMIND... Once again, we are looking to make the moves characteristic of the douche bags that we are - after looking up rumors, the rumor is us trading the #8 pick for Kurt Thomas and his 8.1 million dollar and the 24th pick... WTF?!?! A first round pick for Kurt Thomas and a lower pick... Get the f*** out of here. We wouldn't trade Sean May for the 17th, but we WILL trade a 1st rounder for Kurt Thomas and a lower pick? Genius. If you're talking about 1st rounders, you should be exchanging it for stars, b/c that's what you're supposed to get in the 1st round... Not KURT EFFIN THOMAS. Why are we still screwing around with crap like this? This move would contradict what fluff Bickercrap has been giving the media, if you are going to take an 8.1 mil hit for a role player, you're most likey not going to be able to spend money in free agency. This shit is so stupid. The more I'm reading, the more pissed off I get.

No garbage players PLEASE. If we trade let's get something big out of it(Stoudemire) or not trade the picks at all. We don't have to facilitate anything if we're not benefiting completely from it. I did hear that they may give up Amare though, that would be very nice.

Agreed, but supposedly he was only mentioned in the KG trade. All I know is, we better come out of this next week with 2 great players, G-Dub better get locked up after that, and we better add a top-tier free agent. Our front office is a bunch of dumbasses. I thought Higgins said if we aren't calling out the pick at #8, then we probably got two good veteran players. Keyword, GOOD. Do us a favor and make a move that's worth two shits.

I am not a fan of us trading with the suns at all. I just don't think we're gonna get what we want out of it. They aren't going to give us stoudamire and he's really the only one I want. I think best case scenario we wait for our pick to come and if brewer is there we take him. I also like the deal for richardson. I say if neither of those work out try to pull the trade with philly for there 12 and 21 pick. Take Nick Young at 12. JUST DON'T TRADE WITH THE SUNS!

We'd be better of saying F it and use the 8th pick. None of that is anything I want to hear, GARBAGE. Let them throw their own trash away. Why facilitate another teams bid for a star by taking left overs, why would we take a back seat in this thing? They've been talking about all this money they have and how we're going to make a splash into free agency?!? Kurt Thomas?!? Kurt Thomas?!?

If Bob allows this move to be made, it will simply show that he is, in fact, here only to make money, not field a playoff contender.

Perhaps you want to go back and read my post again. I did not say Bob Johnson makes the move. I said "if [he] allows it to be made." He controls that, right? Does the GM/Basketball Operations guy not report to the owner?

Bob Johnson is the owner of the team. He is the top of the tower, the head honcho, the end all, be all, etc. He sets the path for the organization. That is all.

So is Jerry Richardson of the Panthers. 3 winning seasons in 12 years (including a 1-15 season), but PSLs are always sold and more ad space is placed in BOA every passing year. Why no slam on him for going after the dollars Bama? Hmmmmm.

Because he actually tries to field a competitive team. The Panthers have, for the most part, tried to bring in guys that will make them a contender. They have made mistakes, but they have tried. He did get rid of Capers after disappointing seasons. He got rid of Seifert after the 1-15 season. He allows changes to be made when they need to be.

I would just like to see some solid moves made by the Bobcats, and IMO, trading the #8 for Kurt Thomas and the #22 is not a solid move. The Bobcats are a competitive team for the most part, but adding a role player is not the piece that will put them into the playoffs.

You know good and well what I am getting at, but you cannot miss the chance to, once again, insinuate that I am racist, huh? Your trick is old, KT. I truly feel sorry for you.

They've tried and failed. The Panthers overall record as a franchise is below .500, so going by your "its all on the head honcho owner" logic, Mr.Richardson is one of the worst owners in the NFL. And how do you know in their short 3 years the Bobcats arent trying? We see who does & who doesnt get the benefit of doubt from ole Bama.

Fair enough, but why the cheap shot at Bob? You could've easily typed that instead of your misguided attempt to once again shit on the team owner who isnt making these decisions. The other OWNER Michael Jordan is, you may have heard of him before.

I dont have to insinuate anything with you, anyone that can read can see the issues & demons you're dealing with internally. You can play the role on this message board all you want, but get help Bama, you seriously need it.
