yea, I don't like the new stadium movement, city's being forced to finance a new stadium just to keep a team thats been there for years.

The NBA is doing no justice for itself by having cities like Memphis, OKC, and Sacramento in the league. All those cities can support the team but the NBA takes a hit in 'name value' from having cities like those in the league.

Anyway sad to see the Sonics move, you know it has to hurt the fans there with all the history they have. Good thing for OKC the Sonics suck major a$$.

Sorry, cant blame this one on Stern. The former owner of the Sonics sold it KNOWINGLY to businessmen from OKC who've always had the intent of moving the team there. If anything blame that former owner and the Sonics fans who didnt give a damn until it was too late.

Tell me about it, the Hornets moving in 2002 still hurts.

Anytime an organization moves, it's bad for the fans, the players, the coaches, and everyone involved.

At least Seattle gets to keep the 'Sonics' name and colors. I wish we had done the same with the Hornets.

But yeah I'd never even HEARD of OKC until the Hornets played there last year. I think this is a dumb move personally.

Wow. Someone needs to study their geography a little more. Not to mention the whole OKC bombing that was one of the biggest events of the past 20 years.

Well What I meant was...I don't think it's as good of a place to hold a basketball franchise. I'd never heard of them pulling for a B-ball team until last year....Like Vegas; they've been asking for a team FOREVER...(or like how L.A. want's a football team.

B/ yeah; I still can't wait to get a jersey of the new team...unless it's pink and green.
