Default matt cassel to steve smith

the future of the carolina panthers.

dude is a beast. He has 2 400 yard passing games in a row. I don't think Jake has one in his career.

great scrambler as well. reminds me of Steve Young.

Fox/Hurney would never get a high profile FA that would put this team over the top, and make us Super Bowl contenders. Silly.

Cassel will go to a more quarterback-hungry team. It's a shame really.

Can't afford him. Analysts are saying he'll get 66 million.

It's a shame, but it's not my fault. It's Martys...

John, how will Cassel fit into your flawless offensive scheme. Cassel's accuracy in passes of 40+, 30+, 20+ and 10+ is the worst of all starters in the NFL this year......BB has crafted a great passing attack to fit his QB's weaknesses.....where the majority of his throws are behind the line of scrimmage and under 10 yards. Your offense is based off play action w/ your QB taking shots downfield. That is obviously Cassel's weakness.....are you suggesting Fox that you might do something different.......or simply try to put the sqaure peg in in the round hole like you are known for? Cassel in your lame and predictable offense would give us all David Carr flashbacks.

A couple good games and the analysts start predicting contract numbers? That's Aaron Rodgers money right there.

Lets not get too big

A lot of the time its just momentum because of their star QB getting dropped

But doesn't necessarily mean when they go to another team and be starting QB, they will be successful
