How is their recruitment going of late? I know they might be in good shape with Hairston...Haven't heard much lately.

And any word on John Wall and his lean at present?

Boynton is still looking at several schools, it is down to Duke, Florida, Ga. Tech, Texas and Kanasas State it sounds like. More than likely it looks like it will be between Duke and Florida. Would be a great get for Duke, seeing as people are comparing his game to Jay Williams and A.I.

Brandon Knight is looking at Duke as well, but his list is pretty wide open. It sounds like Boynton would make a decision before Knight.

John Wall is a thug is what everyone is saying..Pretty sure he will not land at Duke or Carolina...sounds like Memphis or Ok. State..Boynton and Knight's team beat Wall in Vegas a couple weeks ago.

Oh and you misspelled Duke in the title.

OK thanks for the insight...I knew Wall was not going to end up at Carolina, but had heard Dook might be looking at him. I know at one time UK was in on the Wall sweepstakes...No word on that?

I've heard Boynton and Knight were pretty good...One and done's?

I heard that GaTech is leading for Boynton, Knight is still up in the air since he is 2010 and Wall's coach (Clifton) just got a job at Baylor (one of Wall's leaders) so that is where he will end up. Go figure...

You are right about Wall. He is going to Baylor, but it's a package deal because his AAU coach Dwon Clifton is taking a job with Baylor. Dwon started his career at Clemson, before transfering to UNCG. I guess one of Clifton's assistant coaches while at Clemson is at Baylor now and that is the connection. One and done, but still nice get for Drew and Baylor.

Interesting Wall development. I'm sure the State fans will commit harry carrey. I think they wanted him bad. Wow on Boynton...I felt like he was a dook lock. Does the GT thing have to do with Favors? Hewitt can recruit...He can't coach worth a damn though.

Haven't heard about a Favors connection all I know is what the boys down at Tech are telling me. I heard they were his leader so I was just passing info on. As far as the State fans are concerned, the ones in the know that are keeping up with this every day knew that Wall wasn't coming here about a month and a half ago b/c of some developments that had surfaced with Clifton. We got Lorenzo (as a PG or SG), Richard Howell, and arguably the best pure shooter in the class with Scott Wood so State fans are as content right now as a State fan can possibly be. However, don't be surprised when March rolls around and Favors is ready to commit if you hear State fans tearing their hair out to know what he's going to do. Same goes for Ryan Kelly...we are all really high on him (some higher on him than Favors because they know that Favors is one and done and Kelly is not).

I read somewhere on ESPN that Boynton is now favoring FL...Seems Donovan had a big recruiting weekend or something. Also read that Ryan Kelly has cut his list down to 6. UNC, Dook, Georgetown, Wake, ND and another (can't remember). I know it's not State.

^ thanks Mintal...It seems maybe Kelly is courting Dook...He did outplay Plumlee at the U18, so I'm sure he feels confident he could jump him in the lineup.

Yeah all that is relatively new info on scout today. Kelly just cut his list last night...disappointing.

Or maybe it was that he spent alot of time with plumlee and wants to play with him at Duke??
