I am not as upset as some folks. Why not? Because our offense found the zone in the second half, Jake proved that nothing was wrong, and the woes of the defense won't be a recurrent problem. We fought back rather than caving like we did against Tampa and made it a game.

What does piss me off?? If the first 12-15 plays are scripted by their offense against our defense then the fact that they did so well and we did so poorly suggests we are getting outcoached. We are setting up in a vanilla same as always defense that they know we will come out in and they have already game-planned to beat it. Meanwhile we script against their defense and we are either doing a crappy job of game-planning or they are smart enough to come out and do a few things different to take us out of the gameplan.

Otherwise why did Detroit and Atlanta's first 12 or 15 plays work against us and we can't get a first down in the first quarter???

I agree with you, Panthers55. The first quarter has been our weakness this season. We're just so sloppy and uninspired in the first 15 minutes of the game.

I don't know, seems like giving up four touchdowns in the most important 15 minutes of the game would seem important, but I won't judge

I find the last couple of touchdowns to be irrelevant. They were sweeteners. I respect the Falcons, but the game was clearly over before the last two gimme touchdowns.

Offense: We need to start faster and save the D.
Defense: We need to get off the field when we have a chance to, not slip up (literally) and give them the game. This also requires better coaching.
Special teams: Don't give up! Don't ever give up!

Ive never wanted to do real bodily harm to a bunch of fans as I did yesterday afternoon.

I really wanted to hurt somebody.

I think it's safe to say the NFC South is the best division in football this year. If we come out flat again next week I'm going to flatten my TV.
