The 30 for 30 show on espn is on and they're discussing Miami's 51-point win over Notre Dame in Gerry Faust's last game. The announcers and analysts all saying it was totally uncool...especially in a guy's last game. A black player for Miami said that Nebraska and Oklahoma made a habit out of beating people by 70 and 80 points in the old days, and no one said anything, but a mostly black team beating Notre Dame the way they did was unacceptable. I never thought of it that way. Thoughts?

The only reason people had a problem with it was because Notre Dame is/was the Cowboys (America's team) of college football, and Miami was the Bengals (full of thugs) of college ball.
