Injuries haven't been a big issue, we have enough talent to be competitive this year. I haven't seen a thread like this in a while so I'm interested in everyone's input.

I don't know how you guys feel, but I feel like we've had 5 (since super bowl) years of missed opportunities because of mediocre coaching and failed moves. I think Fox will be around, but we may not agree with it. If he takes a 8-2 team (after playing poorly against Oakland and Detroit) and misses the playoffs, I would hope some fire gets thrown around.

I'd like to see more aggressive football in Carolina, less conservative. We have a hard time beating young and fast teams (Atlanta) cause of this old style football Fox plays. I also think Fox keeps putting his hands into the offensive playcalling.

I think Fox is gone if he doesn't get you guys in the POs. I think you'll see the Cowher talk starting up soon. I think Fox is a good coach. Your team is obviously talented, but there is something missing in the motivation dept, which means it is probably coaching.

Yeah...losing our first rounder next year is going to sting so bad. Then again...and I love Pep, mind you...but Franchise the guy...let someone take him away...two first rounders come our way. Yes, we'd have no D line...but it'd be nice to have that first rounder back and two the following season.

No doubt Fox got us out of the deep sh!t after the 1-15 and restored our team to respectability. Thats something im forever indebted to him as a fan. Im just not into this brand of football we been playin for the last 3 years. we havent progressed dispite adding talent. I just hope we get out of this funk and start playin. If we lose this weekend to the Pack, I really dont see us makin it. Anything is possible, thats why we playum....

Now this is a Falcons fan with class, who deserves to post on this board. Thank you for being intelligent, unlike TurnerBurner or whatever who is simply be an ass.

I'm shocked the Cower talk hasn't heated up more. I've barely heard it (because we're 8-3 of course). I've heard more about him coaching NCSU...which in my opinion would never ever happen.

Just cuz we lost doesn't mean we're not going to the playoffs!!! We should all know as Panthers fan that we did not bring our "A" game. I just think we've been a little cocky since after bye and this loss should knock us back on track!!

I think given how we gambled next years draft pick and banked on making a run this year, if we're not in the playoffs at all his job should be seriously evaluated. At the least given the massive amount of underachieving and lackluster performances by this team with the talent we have.

However this talk is extremely premature.
