It counts. You're just not an elite team in 2008. Nebraska isn't either, but at least we'll admit it.

1965 is my cutoff for college football relevancy. I don't consider anything that came before that to have anything to do with college football as we know it today.

I do think a Nebraska vs. Clemson game is an intriguing match-up for us. I'm pretty excited about it the more I think about it.

I still would have rather played FSU, but I'm happy with Clemson over Georgia Tech. It wouldn't be right to see us playing a team that runs the option...

Nah. I can go with 1970, maybe. I still consider the OU-NU games of the early 1970s to be relevant.

I'm not one of the Clemson fans who considers this team to be elite this year.
I think they have elite talent, but they are not elite if you know what I mean.

I'm just glad Clemson is playing in a New Years Bowl game. It should be good.

Yeah. I think most of that went away after the Alabama loss. Even I thought they were a legitimate Top 10 team to start the year. I should neg rep myself for believing Tommy could go an entire season without sh*tting the bed.

The two things I'm concerned about most for Clemson are their return game and their D-Line pass rush. Sapp and Bowers are pretty stout. Our tackles need to be ready to go for a constant pass rush that's as good as any they've seen all year. I imagine we'll have to commit

I wouldn't be surprised to see us squib kick it the entire game to keep it away from Spiller. There's nothing good that can come from having him get the ball with a full head of steam.

The Gator Bowl people believe that Clemson fans will travel better and bring more money than FSU, I guess. That's mostly what the bowls are interested in as opposed to who deserves it.

This is an elite bowl for an ACC team...I'm a huge Clemson fan but this surprised me with a 7-5 record....I guess they know the fans will show up for this one.
What's the payout for this bowl?
