I picked up on that, but I guess in tradition of the X files it will have an overlying story line while tying each episode to it some way. Maybe they'll bring back the Smoking man.

This show stepped it up a notch for me tonight, big time episode. Less wise cracks from dawson creek boy and the old guy shined tonight. The show went from a "I'll watch it in a couple days off DVR show" to a "Wait 15 minutes in and watch immediately tonight show."
