Did you check the canopy?

Nice looking pontoon boat. I think you got a good deal, but I don't know shit about boats. We're looking a motor home that can pull a trailer.

yea we had it up, it was fine, no rips or tears..... I had to take it down cause I was towing it.... I know it is not a beauty queen boat, but definitely worth the money to get out on the water and have a good time....This will be the finishing touch on it and I am in heaven.

Thanks.... I am excited, unfortunately I won't have the grill this weekend, but definitely looking forward to just being out there cruising and listening to music. Do you know where a good place would be to consider seats for next year? I found this online store but don't know if these are reasonable prices

I'm assuming your going to Lake Norman. At exit 28 off I-77, there is a West End Marina store (I think that's what it's called). They have everything. Good place to compare prices of things you need that you find on the net. Get to know it. Every boater goes there for something at least once.

Heading north on I-77, take exit 28, take a left over highway, it's on the left.

Is Overtons in Pineville (Carolina Place Mall Parking lot) still open...or Westport Marine also on South Blvd and Tyvola. I used to get a bunch of stuff for our boat from those places. You'll be able to get seats, grills, etc in stock. Haven't shopped for the boat in a while...for that matter, I haven't taken it out for almost 2 years now. We just start it at home with a hose running through the engine to keep it maintained. If they are not open still, they had catalogs too. Lots of stuff available.

And recheck your covenants - at first glance boats cannot be at my house either, but mine says on a concrete driveway behind setback lines or concealed from view. We built a driveway beside our house behind the setback lines. Every few years we might hear something about it, but we just point out the big ole OR, and we're ok.

Actually I think Lake Wylie is closer to our home... I know Norman is nicer but Wylie may be a bit easier to get to.

There is also a West End Marina at the corner of S. Tryon and Steele Creek (turn rt on Steele Creek heading South on Tryon) about 5 miles north of Lake Wylie.

We go to Lake Wylie. Lots of places to launch and go. Get yourself a waterway map to help you out some. We launch mainly at the landing at Busterboyd Bridge. Sometime we go deep into SC past Tega Cay to an area called Big Allison Creek. It's off the main channel, and not very crowded. Sometimes we go out by the damn in SC. And sometimes we go deep in NC near the Wilkinson Blvd and I-85 bridges. Again, not very crowded and my brother lives in Belmont so we pick him up at a landing near there.
