Retaliation in basbeall

I am sick of Jose Reyes' pompous a$$. Last night he hit a 3 -run homer against the Phils and held his hand in the air the whole way around the bases. The last time these two teams matched up he did some other stuff to show up the phils. The Phils announcer last night said that someone should put a fastball into his neck the next at bat and I agree 100% and no one from the Phils has done anything yet. It is starting to pi$$ me off.

It seems that retaliation is not what it use to be. Not sure if it is because the players are soft, times are changing, or the fines and suspensions are more strict. All I know is that this is one part of the game I wish would come back. Player shows you up, you get a fastball to your noggin on your next at bat.

methinks MLB is quick to give out very stiff penalties...so alot of players/managers dont want to be suspended for a week...esp.playoff type teams

Do that crap to the Pirates and we'll throw at your head. Of course with our pitching the ball would sail over the net and hit some kid eating an ice cream. If there is anyone in the stadium that day.....

Brett Myers was pitching. Suspending him would have done us a favor. Poor managing. Everytime Myers would pitch I would have him throw at the first batters head.

Honestly all I want to see is a 96 mph fastball in Reyes neck, the rest I could care less about.

Unfortuantely in about 15 minutes we have Jamie Moyer on the mound against them and I don't think a 67 mph fastball is going to send the same message.

I remember one time in fall ball catching a guy's ball he tried to throw at me while I was batting. That made him even madder. Wasn't my fault he was like Moyer, no gas.

You could catch Moyer's ball in your teeth and spit it back at him without fear of knocking a bicuspid tooth loose.
