When I read this, I went looking to see what I saw and went to Charlotte.com. They had the breaking news headline - Rain has stopped; dryers on track; 8:00 pm start at the earliest. That was posted at 6:58 pm so don't know if anything has changed.
Holy crap - 600 mile race. And I thought I had it bad last night. |

Don't think it's going to happen tonight, folks. They just showed the track and I saw rain again.
 Given the forecast for the next couple of days, might as well race at Dover tomorrow and do Lowes next week.

The LMS lots are free, but there are other lots around. Don't know what they'll do.

My heart is out to all of the folks that paid good money for seats/parking/hotel/gas....hopefully they'll get a good race tomorrow!

I have seen some lots do free parking for return customers, I have seen some lots do Half off, and I have seen another full price day........We stayed until it started coming down after the hard rain, and then we headed out....I think we were about 40 minutes from Greensboro when the race was actually called. It sucks this weekend was a complete wash, spent money that I rally did not have on tickets, hotel and of course Saturday night festivities. I had fun, but would have rather stayed at the house and not spent the money
It was rather nice though getting home before midnight then after midnight for a change |
