Wii Video Cables Help!!!
I have been using my Wii on my 48 inch Sharp Aqiuos LCD TV.
When playing Rockband, It is almost impossible to see the words scrolling across the screen. The overall video quality of the game is not very good. I have adjusted the settings on the TV, and they make no difference. Can I adjust the Wii settings? I am new at the wii Thanks, |

1) Are you using the cables that came with it or the component cables? The component cables make a difference and allow you to do progressive input rather than interlaced. If you're having trouble with blurring I would try that. http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs...encyPreference
2) Once you get the cable, change the video setting to 480p under the wii settings menu.

I am using the RCA cables...Could I make any changes to the Wii without buying the cables, or do I need to breakdown and just buy the stinking things?

i'm using the standard cables, and have a similar problem. you can't see what's being reviewed on a play in madden.

I bought the cables and it made a noticeable difference for me when switching to progressive. I would suggest it. I don't think the supplied cables will do progressive.

the cables that they provide are cheap. spend a little money for some component cables.
the rca cables you speak of hook up as composite only. component>composite
