Anyway, show just stepped it up a notch. Went from a "I'll watch it in a couple days off DVR" to a "wait 15 minutes in and watch TONIGHT" show. Dawson creek boy had less wise cracks and was good here, old guy was great. Awesome episode, got my attention. 2 weeks till a new one though? |

I thought last weeks episode was a little boring. But tonights was much better. I like it that his son got his ass kicked and was humbled. Because he was getting on my nerves.

One of the better episodes so far. Plot gets deeper each time I watch. Whats the deal for 2 weeks till a new episode? Are we able to speak of spoilers in here?
...also can anyone see this going on like LOST did? Plot wise... |

I like this show, but the lead girl is horrible, IMO. Her acting is so wooden, and she is one of the most depressing characters on TV. It's understandable that she is still getting over her betrayal/loss of her boyfriend, but rather than playing it like she is having emotional struggles, she is playing it like she has no emotion whatsoever...and that is bringing the whole tone of the show down to me. Heck, even her deep husky voice has started to annoy me.
I like the rest of the characters, though. I know some people don't like the Dawson's Creek guy, but I actually think he plays off the old man really well. I do wish they would make the "pattern" a bit less confusing. It makes me work too hard to keep up and not get left behind...although I do expect that this will work itself out as we get deeper into the series. |

might wait till i can watch 5 to 6 episodes back to back. Kinda nervous about watching this series as i have recently gotten into supernatural which is seriously good and i am worried that there similarities would cause me to cast this one to the side.

According to the producers, they actually use real scientific theories and principles. Of course it is always used in the most outlandish way, but it starts with things that have been, or currently are, being studied. |

And then they Hollywoodify it. I am liking this show more and more. I like the lead actress, I think the emotional detachment is sorta what a person needs to do if their SO worked where they worked and everywhere you look you see reminders of them. It allows her to move on and do her job without wallowing in self-pity. Besides, I think she honestly doesn't know WHAT to think/feel. The dude she loved was a traitor...and then he shows back up after he "died." It'sa gonna get good.
