Detroit shouldn't have even gotten the 7 points, but Hester fumbled a kickoff return.... Orton 24-34, 334 yards, 2 TDs. Forte accounts for 2 TDs, Hester got a rec. TD, Rashied Davis just 3 yards shy of 100 yards receiving, Olsen has a really nice day with 87 yards. Good day for the Bears on both sides of the ball.

With Atlanta beating the Packers, the Bears are back in their rightful place atop the NFC North

Yeah I saw the spread at 3 and thought, "You have to be kidding". Then I woke up late and forgot to bet.

I know it was just the Lions but a division win is the best kind during the regular season. Orton played great!

yep.... the NFL wouldn't be the NFL without the bottom feeders... there'd be no underdogs, no "any given Sunday".. the teams like the Lions, Raiders make the league a hell of a lot more interesting.

Bear's offense is starting to open up.

They are going to be a headache in the later weeks of the season.

Here's hoping the bears handle business next week against the falcons and later on against the saints

I'm not sure I have seen a more pathetic team than detoilet this year.

The sideline reporter for the radio broadcast ( I was in transit to the Backyardigans Live yesterday afternoon) said that you could hear the coaches on the Bears sideline communicating in to the field.
He said you can NEVER hear that. It was like a Junior High game with regard to noise. Total crickets.

Interesting side note: Bears 2-0 without Tommie Harris. Bears 1-2 with Tommie Harris. Highest paid guy on team.
Things that make you go...hmmmm.
