Default Metro Atlanta area Fans

A growing gathering has been assembling at The Derby in the Perimeter area. Ashford Dunwoody exit on 285 - Left on Hammond Dr, 1 mile down on left (1155 Hammond Dr., 30328).

Fans of a number of teams watch games there, but the Panthers contingent is the loudest and most consistent. Anywhere from 5 - 20 fans, all in jerseys. The bartenders have said they may make it a Panthers bar this year and put memorabilia on the walls, etc. They also make us Panthers shots (almost always free), so that's a nice touch.

The Derby is an everyone-knows-your-name type place, and very loud on Sundays with plenty of good-natured trash talking. It is most definitely NOT a family place (way too much swearing), but perfect if you're looking for some beers and upbeat celebrating.

Let me know if you need any more info!

I caught the Chicago regular season game there last season. I met a few Panthers fans there. Walked right in and grabbed a table 5 minutes before kickoff. Beer=reasonable, wings=some of the best I've ever had.

If my buddy is still living in Atlanta this football season, I may come down and join you for a game when the Panthers are away.

Hey, I might be moving to Marietta in Sep. Are these places anywhere close to there?

And are there any places to watch Panthers games in the area?

Cool- then you probably met me! That was a rough day, but vengeance was ours when it matters. Definitely come by if you're in town - we are guaranteed to be there, beer in hand.

Kase- you should definitely come check it out. There are some ladies at the Derby a good bit too. It's a great place to watch a game. The people that go there are almost all hardcore fans of their team - makes for a good time.

That Care Bear thing is awesome by the way.

Depending on where you'd be in Marietta, the Derby probably won't be too far away, maybe 20-25 minutes. Generally, Marietta is pretty family oriented so the bars are tamer. If you move down, try checking us out for a week and if it's too far we'll ask around about somewhere nearer you.

Why thank you sir. My goal, as should be everyone's, is to one day return to the finest state in the Union - NC (goes without saying though).
