Default A case against South Carolina

Lets turn this troublesome state into a big bay. And create a Port Charlotte. We can dump the refuge in Georgia where it belongs.

There can only be one Carolina

SC was also the failed home to the Condfederacy.

Had Raliegh been the capital, well, Im afraid the USA would look very different.

Teh Kurb is also the failed student of history. Neither Columbia nor Charleston housed the capital of the CSA.

Not of the confederate states, but for a short period of time, South Carolina was the only state that had left, so she would the capital of her own confederacy.

not sure charlotte is any better than sc. the hunting is better in sc, the gas is cheaper, they still fly the rebel flag on state groungs even though its not where it use to be. charlotte sure doesnt have any desire to hang on to any southern culture or history.

Now, now... It may not have housed the capitol of the CSA, but as an objective bystander, it was the place where the Civil War started in Fort Moultrie, and it does have some beautiful places down there... Do you really want to go as far as getting rid of it entirely???

(Don't shoot the Damn Yankee Messenger, just some thoughts for you rebels)...

OK - good catch! I was thinking Revolutionary War and Civil War is what came out. Fort Moultrie is right next to Fort Sumter, and was the start of the Revolutionary War when it was fired upon by British fleets.

See, rebels? You'd be getting rid of not one, but two key pieces of real estate!

SC was #8 to enter the union, NC was #12. SC gets dibs by being first.

SC was originally part of NC when the colonies were formed. Just like Alabama ans Mississippi were part of Georgia for a while. At the time, it was to much land to govern.

No city in NC has the distinctness of Charleston. Sorry guys. You'll drown SC over my dead body.
