Flash in the pan. The guy isn't going to do jack this year. The only reason he did so well last year is that there wasn't a lot of game footage. Now, teams are going to tear him a new one. The almost the entire season he didn't go two weeks w/o a game over 90% qb rating. Yet the last 3 games in the season and the one playoff game, he struggled. After this year, the Falcons will trade a 1st and Ryan for Chris Simms.
I say by game 6, we'll see the majority of fans show up in Vick jerseys, wishing for the glory days when their team had a flicker of hope that they would be good. That is, if they show up.

I dont think he is the best QB ever, but he didnt too bad for a rookie! I dont think that was a fluke...

If he could play better, then the blame is on the team for not playing up to his caliber. If the team is playing on par (which I believe the are), then he is just an average QB. At least Carolina fans realize that Jake is not going to be an elite QB. We are not placing all our hope in Jake.
