The "is Mitch Hedberg funny thing" has been debated numerous times on this site. I am an the side of him being funny although comedy central has ran his stuff to death. I am just sad he isn't around to do new material.

Mitch Hedberg is definitly funny. One of the best.

I'm going to see Frank Caliendo when he comes to town. Saw Larry the Cable Guy earlier this summer, he was funnier than I expected. Saw George Carlin twice, once in Vegas, he was funny. The next time was in West Palm Beach and he sucked. All he talked about was suicide.

I am over the whole Caliendo schtick personally. Do you ever watch some of the lessor known comedians on the Comedy Central Presents show? There are some really funny ones on there.

I'm hoping Caliendo does some stand-up and not just imperssonations. Good reason to drink beer, so I'm going.

Definitly all over the CC Prsents and xl XM Comedy Channel. But I am horrible with names though. Hedberg is on XM radio right now doing his A.D.D. gimmick.

Same here. I will see a comedian and say. I need to remember that joke or I need to remember his name but never do. I can't even remember the color of my wife's eyes let alone a comedian that I am watching at 11pm.

Of the list, Carlin, Pryor, and Cosby are the only three that I really like. Lewis Black has his moments, but I wouldn't consider him a great.

I've been really disappointed with the XM comedy channels for the past year or so. They used to play a ton of good, unknown comics. Now, 150 (which used to play all kinds of comedy) and 151 (which used to play clean comedy, like Cosby, Reiner/Brooks, etc.) both play blue collar crap almost all day. 153 has it's moments, but they tend to play pretty much the same 3-4 comedians almost all day, as everytime I turn it on, it's seems to be Kathleen Madigan. 154 is good for hearing comedians that you are already familiar with. Most of the stuff that they play on there are things that I've heard a million times already...but it's unfortunately the best comedy channel they currently have.

I'm hoping that when the XM/Sirius merger happens, some of the Sirius comedy channels will be better. Comedy was the main reason I originally went to sat radio, but I rarely listen anymore.
