Dead topic....there is just too much money in alcohol....from the people producing and selling it, to the people arresting you for having too much of it, alcohol will always be here

Already make my own wine. Adding liquor to the list in that scenario would be a no brainer.

To be honest, I hardly think it is a dead Topic. There are still dry counties in NC. And I'm sure there are others around the country.

Plenty of money to be made from Prescription drugs, but some are not made anymore. Quaaludes would wipe out all the other drugs that replaced it. There is plenty of money to be made from legalizing Marijuana. But it doesn't look like that will happen.

And anyway, this is a What if question...

I would give it up. It wouldn't be worth the hassle or cost of getting busted.

Now grass on the other hand is totally worth the risk.

Madodan voted in favor of a allowing mixed beverages. One thing I have noticed about these situations is, they vote and vote, hell I can't tell you how many times they voted in Greensboro and High Point. Once it's passed, they never vote again. It'd seem only fair to allow them to vote it away.

My county has finally turned to the Dark Side and went WET and WILD. What's bad is I didn't even know it until I walked into the store and was looking at a Bud Light sign. I wept tears of joy. Not really it was stupid being dry I could drive 5 minutes out the road and buy it there and they just lost the taxes off it.

Now onto the topic in hand, it will stay legal. I don't see prohibition ever coming back. None of us remember but during prohibition the US experienced the highest crime rate in history. Making things illegal often encourages use and is more detrimental to society then the substance itself. Look no further then Pot to see an example of this. If they legalized it our crime rate would drop at least 25%. And thats just from direct use and doesn't include crime to get the money to buy it (Robbery).
