As a retailer, I call BS on just about anyone who says yes.

Everyone's "Buy American" until they get to the cash register. Then almost no one is.

I did 2 days ago...needed a bicycle tire pump and they had 2 and one was more expensive than the other. I couldn't understand why cause they both looked the same. Then I saw the more expensive one was made in the US and the other wasn't. I bought the made in the US reason for only a couple of bucks more but that is why I chose it. Every little bit helps.

its hard to walk thru a store and see made in the usa. that goes for places besides wal mart too.

I work with a ton of companies that "assemble" in the USA but have all of their parts fabricated over-seas.

It's so hard to tell anymore, so I don't pay much attention.

Its nearly impossible to buy american when it comes to clothes. I actually did, and the the only way to buy american made jeans was mail order. Thatsto much trouble. Even at the Harley shop, most of the clothes were made overseas.


But I do make efforts in other areas though, especially food. And two of my three vehicles are somewhat american made (Harley Davidson and an old Chevy S10).

I try to buy USA-made items, but it is getting harder and harder to find then anymore. So, reluctantly I have to settle for the stuff that has "Made In China" on it many times.

When everything is made over there, or other places, and there are no jobs for us here in the USA because they have all been outsourced, then who is going to buy their crap? I would imagine we are the main importer of their stuff.
