Condoleezza Rice Promotes Bush to Emperor

Condoleezza Rice told Congress, “The president is going to, as commander in chief, need to do what the country needs done,” when asked what would happen if Congress cancels his authority to wage war in Iraq.

Ms. Rice berated Congress on all sides over the question of continuing the war in Iraq saying the president would not be bound by a congressional decision to end the war.

Congressional armed services chair, Sen. Carl Levine countered with, “The President needs a check and a balance”. A vote to strip Bush of his war power is about to come to fruition. The Dems admit they don’t have enough votes to overcome a veto.
