Default MSNBC dumps Olberman from anchor chair

Quote:
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change — which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle — is a direct result of tensions associated with the channel’s perceived shift to the political left.
Good riddance to the annoying POS.

Anybody who says we have a liberal media is full of s***. We get one liberal on TV and he's gone. We have an entire network devoted to the GOP -- Fox News. I don't care either way, but Republicans need to get over the whole liberal media bulls***.

For people who claim to never watch Olbermann, you seem pretty happy he's gone.

I've flipped his show on many times. Never last more than 30 seconds or so. If Bush is so evil, move away, Keith. I mean, I realize he's the worst president we've had in a long time, but beating that dead horse on a daily basis...what purpose does that serve? Then you wonder why Putin pulls the shit he does.

They don't put O'Reilly in anything other than his show, though, do they?

Wrong. Smart move for MSNBC. Apparently they were tired of having the worst ratings during these political times. FoxNews was number 1, easily beating even the majors.

Quote:

Fox News Channel led the way Wednesday, with 9.2 million people watching Palin's speech on the cable channel. It was the third-largest audience in its history, behind only President Bush's speech on Iraq in March 2003 and a Bush-Kerry presidential debate in 2004.
For each night of the GOP convention so far, Fox's audience has been bigger than any of the other cable or broadcast networks. That duplicates a feat accomplished at the 2004 Republican convention for Fox, the first time a cable network had outdrawn broadcasters for a major news event. NBC had 7.7 million viewers for Palin's speech, followed in order by CNN, ABC, CBS and MSNBC, Nielsen said.

War Bill O'Reilly!

I've watched alot of cable news and I think Bill is as fair as anyone out there. He is in no way like Rush, who is a total dickhead. I like that he calls out both sides on issues. I've seen him be hard on both political parties and also defend both parties. I love that Obama did an interview with Bill. From what I've seen of the interview he wasnt giving Obama a break, yet agreeing with him at times. The interview and Obamas responses have made me swing closer to Obamas side when November rolls around.
