and the AP poll has Carolina ranked #22

It has been such a long time since I have seen this!!!

Coaches poll has them at 26, which I think is BS but oh well

I wished we weren't ranked, gives ND more motivation and I hope to God our players don't get the big head.

we just aren't very good offensively, yeah we have big play scoring ability and scoring is all that matters, I suppose.

OTOH, an average of 300 yards per game on offense is not good, hopefully the running game continues to improve.

I do not know, I think there are some good teams that would love a 300 average for their offense

this is not the bigboy league tweeder, in the college game 300 is not that good.

yeah actually you are right, I did not realize so many teams were averaging 400+ yards...Carolina is actually averaging 345 a game which is beating VT and Auburn, but they are still at number 88 which is horrible

There is no reason UNC shouldn't have a good football program.

I'm not worried about how many yards the offense is averaging. This group is playing well as a team, which is what really matters.

I don't believe this will go to their heads either. They know damn well that they have to keep improving, in order to stay ranked and play in a big time bowl game..

I am not worried but maybe concerned

it isn't hard to see we don't have the best running game and sexton doesn't have yates long ball touch yet. i am tickled to death with where they are in the process of rebuilding the program overall, but i can see where some improvements are needed.

Now the last 2 games have looked better and they changed the OL a little for the Uconn game so maybe the have figued out something and they will continue to improve. If they can get a good running game they will be extremely hard to beat with the WR's they have if a D has to put 8 in the box.

One of the writers in Raleigh paper predicted they will win out and finish 11-1! now I think that is an obvious attempt to stir controversy but it does show people are taking notice, just like being voted 22 in the polls, especially when ya consider GT isn't ranked in the top 25. I thought form the start they could go 8-4 against this schedule, and i'll still take that and a peach or even a carcare, or whatever the Charlotte bowl is this year. In fact i would prefer the Charlotte trip this year
