Five Panthers Make ProBowl

Dec 28 2013 08:58 AM Zod Carolina Panthers
Five Carolina Panthers have made the Pro Bowl

Luke Kuechly
Greg Hardy
Cam Newton
Ryan Kalil
Mike Tolbert

Unsurprisingly, This is the most pro bowl players the Carolina Panthers have had in many seasons.

Players who I feel were snubbed...

Thomas Davis
Star Lotulelei
Brad Nortman

T. Davis for sure. Davis is playing lights out this year...

PS...I got his jeresy for christmas !!

Great list and congrats to our guys! I just feel Davis was snubbed. That guy has been balling. Looking at the list, did any 4-3 olb make the pro bowl?

look at all the OLB's chosen... all 3-4 guys :/

poor TD... hes still a pro bowler in my book

I think Gross is a snub.

Unfortunately Star's production will probably never translate to the stat sheet. Too many people see all DT's as 3 tech's and look at sacks. Unless he develops as a pass rusher I think he'll remain criminally underrated.
The last jersey I bought was a delhomme pro bowl one. I think a Tolbert one is in my future.
Congrats to all our guys!

Good list. The only real snub is TD. Star will make the cut for years to come. As far as Nortman goes, do they even punt in the pro bowl?

I know TD wanted the recognition, and it was nice to see DeAngelo on FB give him the shoutout that he was snubbed.

When the Panthers are playing in MetLife Stadium on February second, we'll all laugh at the ProBowl nonsense anyway.

Not Gano?

Hate that Davis got snubbed and I also think that we have the best punter in the NFL!!

But hopefully none of these guys will be in Hawaii as they will be preparing for the Super Bowl!

I don't think star was a snub, I think TD and gross were for sure

Not Gano?

Matt Prater set an nfl record for longest field goal this season and Justin Tucker has the same number of misses with 11 more attempts. I don't think he got snubbed.

Has anybody said "it doesn't matter because they'll be too busy preparing for a bigger game" yet?

They still deserve the honor and so does TD.

T.D. got snubbed......Nortman had a great year, I hope he stays around for awhile.

Its like people assume an OLB is just another pass rusher. Its straight up bullshit!

As good as this team has been playing, it's only fair that some of the players get recognized by both the fans and peers. Congrats to them all.

Good job guys. wish TD was there.

Very disappointed there should find a way to separate the two forms of lb's. Straight bullsh!t.....
Best case scenario is that none of these guys make the trip because they'll be busy preparing for something bigger

Alot of really good OLB's this year, it's okay he didn't make it. Pro bowl isn't important anyways and if it was strictly AFC vs NFC, he probably would have made it. The guys who made it over him were just as deserving, so calm down.

It doesn't matter anyways, because he's OUR player which is far better than anything else. Our benefit and his!

Kansas City and San Fran led the league with 8. I feel happy with 5. TD deserved it but that's life. I didn't feel strongly about Star making it but when I look at the guys that went ahead of him I think to myself "he's better than those guys".

The one award I would love more than anything for TD is Walter Payton Man of The Year.

I guess I am a little selfish but Gano not making the pro bowl is probably good for us re-signing him.

If he stayed at 100% in field goal percentage we may have run into trouble since he is one of our free agents next year.

TD and Star should have made it .... only 2 players off the #1 scoring defense and #2 rushing defense... thats just wrong
