All 71 Carolina Panthers Attended Voluntary Workout

Apr 18 2012 12:30 PM Brokenbad Carolina Panthers
Lost in the white noise of Tuesday's 2012 NFL schedule drop, a handful of teams met for voluntary offseason workouts.
Missing faces are common at these sessions -- again, they're voluntary.
Not in Carolina.
The Panthers issued a tweet Tuesday to reveal the level of investment inside the locker room:

@Panthers

Marty Hurney: "We have 71 players on the roster and 71 players showed up for voluntary workouts yesterday."
21 Jan 12

(Not letting me quote on my POS computer)

Damn I am proud though!

Everyone showed up. This speaks volumes of the chemistry, dedication, and loyalty to this team.

Great news, I'm sure there are only several teams that can say this. The 2012 season will be a good one, hopefully the draft just solidifies this.
Old news, but it's cool. Maybe some people didn't catch it.
Awesome.
Is this voluntary in the same sense that "exclusive rights free agent" is a free agent? I thought most players had bonuses tied to the workouts.

It is awesome everybody showed up though.
yea this was mentioned earlier, but not in the form of the story NFL.com posted today. Good find.

it's taken a while but we are starting to see the fruits of rebuilding. we are witnessing the beginning stages of something charlotte hasn't seen in a decade.

fixed it for ya ;-)
Hell yea. The players are tired of the losing culture the past few years. Way to show unity guys! The division is ours this year.
I saw Beason tweet that earlier this week. I think our team is going to come out and make a statement this year.

Rodgers explains the importance of offseason workouts.
Am I the only one that wants to mushroom stamp TCF?

The Cam Effect.

The Cam Effect.

Something tells me this is right. Cam is bringing some energy we haven't seen in a long time.
not sure if it is the original source, but Hurney is quoted saying this here: http://www.panthers....28-a751c3296f53
Loving this, everyone's excited and ready. That's the way we Cam.
Small things like this make all the difference. And finding help on defense...but still good news.

Am I the only one that wants to mushroom stamp TCF?

nope
^^^^
What's more exciting? A large group of Panther players were in one location and there are no reported injuries
Yeah just glad nobody popped an achilles.
Super Bowl
Lovin how this team is taking the TEAM aspect that I think Rivera and the coaching staff tried to implement last season and paying off big right now and hopefully for the season to come.

Football IS the true ULTIMATE TEAM SPORT, if you all aren't in it together then its just not gunna work.
I know one thing. We will be running up that damn hill this year!!!!!
Wow!! Everybody showed up for work......
Very good sign.
